Ha ha. I didn't read the intro properly and somehow thought that was you coming down the stairs. 'wow, she looks just like Hilary Clinton!' thinks silly me. *^_^*
That is so cool to have been on the military news. I saw the Girl Scout vest and knew that was them!!! Did you show them? Were they excited for making it on there? Very very cool! : )
Um, we have Daiso's and 100Y shops.
The one i ferquent is in Moore's city are, at Yokosuka chuo staion.
I prefer the 100Yshop, not Daiso, because thats where i shopped in Sasebo (memories).
The 100Yshop is not the biggest i have seen... it's medium sized actually. BUT... the 100Y shops in Sasebo are much bigger and Free standing buildings.
This 100Y shop is on the 4th floor of a building, across from Chuo Staion.
Now, if you are into Daiso... there is a big Daiso (actually 2 on the same floor) in a building (2nd floor)between Yokosuka chuo and Shioiri Staion (Walking distance).
Did you know Chili's started serving breakfast? I have not been... but i heard about it.
Actually, yesterday i went to chili's for Lunch and it was the 1st time in 3~4 months i have been there! It was good, but the service was not. Of course, it was a rainy day, at lunch time, and they were busy. ;)
If you make a trip to the area, i would love to meet you.
I may have my 4 yr old with me, as i dont have a scheduled (time slot... b/c i dont work) :( pre-school for him any more.

Gina - Meg is a typical 'tween, stuck between the silliness of an elementary school kid and the "too cool"-ness of a junior high schooler, so she was equal parts excited and embarrassed at being on the news. They show these "AFN One-minute Updates" about 8 times a day over 4 channels, for a week, so every one has seen it!
But she's so funny, now it's like HC is her best friend or something! My TV is always on CNN and every time HC is on the news Meg's like "Oh, there's Hillary, turn it up!", "Hmm, I don't think I like her in those pants.....", "What'd she do to her hair?" LMAO
