Local hanami

I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the pictures I took during our hanami blitz, I'm still trying to sort and edit them all. In the mean time, here are a few shots from around our area. The video is on the street behind my house, taken as the blossoms started falling.

(Sorry about the wobble. It's difficult to drive and video at the same time! LOL)

On Friday, the last day of the American spring break, the kids and I went to Minami Park in Fussa, for a picnic under the blossoms

OMG!
YES! :)
Actually my hubby is coming to Tama?? This weekend...
He has to go for a Boy Scout thing.
I dont know much, but i do know he is going via train.
He said 1.5 hours to get there.

Anyways, i would love to get together... !!!
We like to take the KEIKU Line to Yokohama. From our house, it's a local for about 10 minutes, and then we swap to an Express to Yokohama Station ... 16 minutes.
Thats it!!
And here in IKEGO we have our own personal Train Station... so we have it made in the shade.

I would love to meet up... if it's truely only 1 hour and 30 minutes, we should plan something soon! :)

hmmm. It seems April is the time to visit Japan. We were there last June - no cherry blossoms!
