After seeing a Match.com commercial for 100th time:
E: Mom, you can go on Match.com to find a new husband.
Me: I don't think I need a new husband Sweets, I'm fine all by myself, with just you and your sisters!
E: Well, you'll have a husband when I grow up.
Me: How?
E: 'Cause I'm gonna be your husband.
When I explained that he couldn't marry me, he cried :( What a sweetie, sweet mama's boy! I'm sure his future spouse will hate me!

Don't little boys just love their mums so. My boy said that he was going to marry Mummy when he grew up, too, probably when he was about the same age as your little one. They're just too precious for words. He still loves me now at ten, I think I have a couple more years before puberty hits.
So hopefully I still have at least 5 more years of sweetness? I'm so glad to hear that! Hope you get at least another 5 too! LOL
There's def. something different b/w the way girls love their moms, and the way boys do.
oohhhhh, can't wait till Shou says something like that to me. At the moment I'm sure it's the last thing on his mind. Top contenders are baka, urusai, and for fucks sake. Safe travels back.
Ethan's a sweetheart. ; )
And yep, little boys say the sweetest things. When Branden was real little (around 3-4) he used to tell me all the time, "mommy, you'll always be my very best friend" years later, he's got best friends his own age. We're still really close, but I'll never forget those heart warming words.
And this Summer, Noah, has told me, he wants to marry me about twice this Summer (when I grow up, can I marry you?) and I sat him down and told him no and explained. Then he said, "well will you help me pick my future wife then?" LOL.
Famous last words. ; )
Little boys are so loyal to their mama's. ; )
