This year, we went to the big Easter carnival at Tama Hills again. They have a petting zoo, jumpy castles, pony rides and a big egg hunt with prizes. It's actually not so much a hunt and a giant, free-for-all smash n' grab. They just throw all the eggs on the ground, yell "Go!" and the kids swarm all over each other and the eggs. Last year Meg and Ethan each won a huge Easter basket stuffed with toys and candy. This year E won a free large pizza.

These are the best pictures I've gotten him to take in over 2 years! For so long, he absolutely refused to smile for, or even look at the camera! It was soooo frustrating! But he's finally coming around, and more and more often now he's cooperating with his photo obsessed mama!
